I have a project which associated with LIN BUS, I've ask NI stuff, they said NI have no such product which support LIN BUS Test.
My test aim at control the car's wing mirror up/down right/left heat color change and so on. The wing mirror's control MCU is ST L9813. and I have a manual controller which can control the wing mirror's actions. But the customer need control the wing mirror base on PC and can automatically act thousands of times. The problem is whether I need buy a PCI/PXI card to simulate as master side to send the control command to the wing mirror's MCU. and how can I know the contol command. I don't know the detail protocol between the manual controller and wing mirror's MCU. Can I use LIN/RS232 convertor to make communications? But the key problem focus on the detail protocol, how can I find it?
