LabView Instrument Wizard doesn't find GPIB- ENET instrments

I just installed a GPIB-ENET box on my computer and ran the diagnostic. It passed the diagonostic. Went into LabView and tried to use the Instrument Wizard to find an HP Multimeter. The wizard didn't find GPIB0. Do I need another driver or do I need to do some other configuration thing for LabView to work with this box.

Hello,

I think the first thing I would try would be to upgrade your driver. NI 488.2 version 1.1 is a really old driver. Take a look at this page for the recommended driver version for your OS.

http://www.ni.com/support/gpib/versions.htm

Once you upgrade the driver take a look at the Users Manual for installation and configuration instructions.

Hope this helps!

yes, but how can you upgrade the driver if it doesn't allow you to uninstall it first?
