Hi, I recently updated my OS to Windows 7 (64-bit) and installed the Measurement and Automation Explorer and updated the 488.2 drivers to the most recent one's available (3.0.2), however there are two issues I am running up against.
First, when installing the NI-488.2 drivers, I get an issue with the VISA portion saying "A version of NI-VISA that is not supported on this operating system has been detected. You must cancel this installation and uninstall the older version.." I've uninstalled EVERY National Instrument product already once, to try this, but it keeps saying this. If I de-select NI-VISA 5.1.1 it allows it to run. My primary goal is to run MAX, so if this is not needed for MAX, then we can skip this issue.
Secondly, when opening MAX it either sits on the initialization screen and nothing happens, or when it opens I am unable to detect any instruments connected by my GPIB-USB-HS device.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
