MAX shows the GPIB interface as question mark

We installed Keithley 2635 driver and uninstalled the NI 488.2, the MAX shows in the devices and interfaces a lot of yellow alerts, see attached figure. The computer still can talk to the device.  Can any one tell me why and is it normal?

Also, now, we are going to use lock-in SR 83, it needs NI.488.2, how can we use them two in one computer ?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Why on earth would you uninstall the NI driver? Why don't you remove the GPIB controller at the same time? The driver is necessary if you are using a GPIB controller from NI and removing it does not make any sense. A driver for an instrument is something completely separate.

In order to use two instruments, you just have to connect them. Daisy chain or star configuration will work.

There are numerous basic GPIB tutorials available on the Internet. I suggest you try googling for one before you do any more work withGPIB.

Thanks, and I uninstalled it buecause Keithley says so.

Anyway, I will try to learn more about GPIB.

I can't imagine why Keithley would tell you to uninstall a driver for a GPIB controller. The only reason they should tell you that is if you were using a controller from Keithley and not a 2635.

Don't use a comma as the decimal separator.

p.s. And in the future, please start a new thread instead of hijacking an old and unrelated one.

A period. Just like the manual tells you to use, probably.
