I just upgraded NI and am running into the same issue. What a pain! Any permenate fix yet?

Hello:

Please check which version of NI-488.2 you have installed.  This issue should have been resolved as of version 2.6 of the NI-488.2 driver.  The newest version, 2.7, is available here.

If you have version 2.6 or later, I would be more than happy to investigate the behavior you are seeing.

I'm using NI 488.2 v2.52. I'm unable to upgrade my development machine due to production machines needing to be upgraded first or else my application build may bust.

But thank you for letting us know the problem should be resolved in newer versions.
