Missing gpib.ini file

We are connecting our system together and the system is giving us an error message. We investigated the error and found out that we are missing a software file called gpib.ini. Can you provide us with this file? What information would you need from us to provide us the file? Thanks for your help!!

Hi Micheal,

I would first try repairing your NI-488.2 driver.  You can go to the Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs, then select National Instruments Software.  Under that list, select NI-488.2 and click Repair.  If you do not have the original installation CD, you can try downloading the driver from our website. 

Repairing should add back in the gpib.ini file if it has been deleted or corrupted.
