NI 488.2 version

Hi,

I would like to know which key file(s) I can base on or refer to to identify the version of 488.2  v2.42 or v2.81
I know the Software component from  Measurement & Automation explorer tool can display the version of 488.2 but I want to check the revision of 488.2 without launching NIMax.exe.

Hi Tu,

I would try going to Start ->All Programs ->National Instruments ->NI-488.2 ->NI-488.2 Readme.

There should be a readme file there that displays the version.

This may be closer to what you're looking for. Using the Get Installed Software VI should allow you to get the version.
