NI MAX USB device alias disappears

Hello,

I have a device connected to PC (Win7) and controlled via CVI using alias assigned in NI MAX. Occasionally after restart alias vanishes from NI MAX leaving only resource name 'USB:: ...' and no alias. Then alias has to be entered again and saved.

Has anyone came across such a problem?

Or have any suggestions?
