Not sure exactly waht is the best board to ask questions about NI MAX, none seems to fit.
(On a related matter, it doesn't seem to be possible to install it as a separate product, or I just can't seem to navigate the support/drivers section of the website to find a page dedicated to MAX.)
Anyway, installed NI MAX 5.3.0f0 not sure with which product, either LV 2012, NI-VISA or NI-488 or ..., on a Windows7/64 bit machine, and it doesn't work like before.
When starting it up it doesn't seem to remember the old configuration and it goes on spinning for a while trying to discover what hardware is installed.
After that it fails to find any of the four USB-GPIB converters I have on that system. A refresh or two is usually necessary to get the info displayed.
This takes way too long compared to older versions. Is this a new "feature" or ?
