Sometimes Instruments cannot be Found

Hello,  I have have a GPIB bus with 4 instruments running smoothley.  Every morning, coming into my lab, MAX cannot seem to find the instruments any more.  It takes trys and restarting my computer to get them to comunicate.  I am using a GPIB-USB-HS to make the connection with the bus to my computer. 

Any idea on why this happens and how I can fix this?

In Device Manager, shut off "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" in the "Power Management" tab of all the USB devices.

Does unplugging/replugging not fix the problem?
