Hi...Could u pls let me know how to do a self test (loop back test ) using LabView on the NI USB 8451 DAQ...What pin configurations/connections do I need to change to do a self test?

(PS..There isnt an option in MAX unlike DAQmx)

I2C loopback needs an external handshake, spi can be done, but why and what are you needing a loopback

I use SPI for writing into certain registers,and I just wanted to test it using self test feature (if any) .. could u explain how to do for SPI ?

expect a delay of one clockcycle and write and read a number of bits.

connect daat out to data in (clk is already avalable and see what happens.
