Need solution for error VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF0015) Timeout expired before operation completed.

Dear sir,

                   I have been trying to read data stored in an external device through RS485 cable. But I am getting timeout error before operation completed.

Kidly help me to solve this.  My command is in normal display mode(01 08 01 CRC:slaveID fncode addresstoread). I have attached the snap of my code.

It's an unrelated thread that you have posted to. Please start a new one after you fix the write and send a valid command with the correct function. You just can't make up the things to send like it seems you have done. Mostly you can't expect sending CRC to work. You have to calculate that our user the modbus Erie function that calculates it for you.
