Looking up how to set the transceiver mode for a serial port through NI MAX shows that I should be expecting an "advanced settings" tab when I select the port in NI MAX, but no such tab exists. There is just a single "Settings" tab which does not have any option to set the port mode to half duplex RS-485. I'm looking in the remote devices>PXIe controller>devices and interfaces>PXIe 8433/4> serial port. When I open VISA test panel I can see that the mode attribute is set to 4 wire 485, but there is no option to change it. I have updated, uninstalled and reinstalled the VISA and Serial drivers on both the windows machine and the remote system (PXIe-8861). How do I use visa test panel in 2 wire RS485 mode on a remote PXIe 8433?
