I am trying to use the I2C Write VI with the 8451 I2C adapter. From what I can tell the write script requires an acknowledge from the slave after sending the address. However, I would like the script to run and continue to send data even if it does not receive an ACK signal. I am trying to do so development work before our product arrives from the fab. Is there a way to ignore whether the slave acknowledges or not?
Thank you,
Paxton

That VI simply calls a shared library, so there's no way to modify how it works. Can't you just ignore the error?

Ignoring this error is not an optiion because I want to the see the rest of the I2C output. It stops after the address data once it does not get an ACK from the slave. This seems like a really important feature to have for early parallel development work on projects.
Thanks,
