Not able to write on IO port

I am using Serial Port provided by .Net framework. But I am not able to write on it. I checked serialport is working by running another 3rd party software. after running software, I am able to write and read the string. Please help me on this issue.

What does this have to do with NI?

You are using .NET.

I know it doesnt have to deal with NI at all. But I am just asking for help on this issue and trying to understand where it is going wrong. Is it something reated to NI's Mesaurement studio ro something else? Ok.
