Do you know how to use the instrument's front panel buttons to make the measurements you want?
Many people jump in and install the instrument LabVIEW driver and try to use them without understanding how their instrument works. An instrument driver is not a substitute for knowing how to use the instrument.

You need to install NI-488 before you can see it in MAX.

That would have been good information to have put in your first post.
Edit: By the way, that instrument is LXI Conformant, which means if you had wanted to save some money, you would not have needed a GPIB card. You can communicate to the instrument via Ethernet. We had great success doing that with Agilent network analyzers.

What is your OS and what version of the driver did you install. The device is not supported on windows 7 or Vista.
