We have a customer who recently upgraded from NI-488.2 version 1.7 to 2.1. They have been experiencing problems with ibnotify thread terminating prematurely. They are running Windows XP but I have duplicated the problem under Windows 2000. I have not been able to pin-point the problem but when I run in debug mode I see the thread termination notice when my computer stops communicating with my equipment. I am running a PCI-GPIB board. Are there any known issues with the latest driver running on a PCI-GPIB board?
I have not seen any issues with ibnotify and the 2.x drivers. Would it be possible to post an NI-SPY capture so we could maybe try and determine where the problem is occurring?
