Did you check what the vendor has?

Yes, but with the vendors software you have to click a button to aquire the data from the scanners, then play it back using their own playback sequence, this will inturn create a .csv file. It is the only way that their software will collect data from the scanners. The Netscanner website lists a labview driver, so I was hoping someone out there had a VI that would lead me in the correct direction (I could adapt it to what I need -- reading from 9 modules - 144 ports).

I don't understand what you want. The link to the LabVIEW driver is right there. Are you saying it does not work or that you need help modifying it? I have not downloaded it since I am blocked from running exe's on the net. Can you post the code that it installs?

The netlab.exe gives you a .llb file with many subVIs.  Seems like this library (attached) has all the goods you'd need.

Good luck bud!

Pretty ugly looking code. In case someone needs to open it with LabVIEW 8.5 or later, here's the llb in version 7.1.

noob question here.

I know this is a really old chat, but I have some 9116 netscanners that I'm considering writing a vi for to just simply display the data in waveform charts. I'm confused when I open this library though. I know barely enough to be dangerous.

Is there something that outlines which vi's I would need or some sequence of events?
