Problem in communicating with Keithley196 Multimeter(DMM) Options

I want to communicate with Keithley196 multimeter using labview.The Gpib address is 07.I am using the GPIB-Labview VI present in the example section of the LABVIEW 7.1.

The VI is just mentiong that an error occured.

I have attached the multimeter manual also.

My device manager 0n pc it is showing the 'GPIB_USB -HS' when i connect the multimeter to pc port and when i remove it ,it will not show it.

I am new in doing this type of communication.

How to do the communication with this type of GPIB.

There is also a very old and unsupported driver the 196 here. I've looked at the code and it's not much but it could provide a starting point.
