Problem of recognition of the Hardware of PCI-GPIB

Hi,

I´m experience problems with NI - 488.2 GPIB-PCI. It was working just fine.But then because of some problems in OS XP 32 Bits system we had to make a recovery point of the OS system.

After this when we start the Windows XP, the board isn´t recognized by plug and play and shows a message of error about  "PCI SIMPLE COMMUNICATIONS CONTROLLER".

I try to put manually the driver "PCI-GPIB" and accepts it.But still the software of NI doesn´t see the hardware anymore.

Is there a possiblity that the board is damaged?

Whenever you re-install the OS, you need to install the required drivers. I know with Dell computers this means Notebook System Software or Desktop System Software, then the chipset, then everything else.
