Calibration use four 8960 with GPIB, sometimes ibwrt function delay more than 200ms

We use four 8960 and four power with GPIB to calibration, its time is more than 30-40%. What can i do? Thanks!

What is an 8960 and what exactly do you mean by 'time is more than 30-40%'?

Normally, we use an Agilent 8960 and a power with two GPIB Cables to calibration mobile phone. It spend about 78 second.

When we use four Agilent 8960 and four power with eight GPIB Cables to calibration mobile phohe at the same time. It spend about 110 second.

I found that because some times ibwrt delay about 200ms, so I want to know why? And what can I do to reslove it. Thanks!

You are trying to do multiple calibrations now with multiple instruments? Unless you have multiple GPIB controllers, the communication cannot be done in parallel so the increased time is expected.

If this is not what you are doing, please provide details. I'm still confused by your post.

There are functions that allow you to write to multiple instruments. I dont remember the ib names offhand and I am posting from my phone. You would still have to sequentially read. Otherwise, switch to ethermet instruments.
