RS232 Data Question

Hello,

I am a starter in LabVIEW, and I have a problem on getting data out from the oscilloscope. The type of the oscilloscope is HM507, and this oscilloscope only has RS232. How do I get the data of the waveform on the oscilloscope? Do I need to get any module?  I already have a RS232 to USB adapter. Besides, I need to use the data of the waveform to make a same waveform on the computer. Is it possible to display the waveform on the LabVIEW?

I'm sure it is possible, I just cannot find any information on what the commands are. If you can find some example code or command structure, we can probably help. But without any information of the commands, there is not much we can do.

The manual for the oscilloscope can be found here:https://docs.rs-online.com/af71/0900766b80296cd0.pdf but it only has the RS232 electrical information. It states that the command reference came on a CD with the instrument. Do you have this?

And considering that that post is a word for word copy and was in 2017 it is a very safe assumption that the OP here probably just is a spam account trying to create some legit looking traffic to later abuse their account for a spam run. Although many spam bots seem to forget their own posts and never come back! 😁
