Read Data from Oscilloscope (LeCroy LC564A) with GPIB

I would like to use LabView to read in the data from a certain Oscilloscope channel over the GPIB bus. I use the LeCroy LC564A Oscilloscope. The data should be saved in a text file. Afterwards I would like to change the Oscilloscope timebase automatically and to start the data acqusition from the Oscilloscope again.

I can change the oscilloscope timebase but it is not possible to read any data in. I get always the follwing error message:

EDVR: Error connecting to driver or device

But if I can change the timebase, there should be no error with connect to the driver or device, right?

There is an IVI driver for the 564 and a LabVIEW driver for the 574 that you might be able to use. Go to http://www.ni.com/devzone/idnet/default.htm

 and do a search for LeCroy. The tasks you describe are pretty simple. If you have some specific problem, describe it in detail.
