Hi Tim,
1. Repair your installations of the IMAQdx driver and IMAQ.
Not quite sure how to do that?
2. Format your cRIO and reinstall the software on it (see this KB for step-by-step how-to)
Done this to no effect.
3. After getting things set up per the instructions in the Dev Zone you linked, try deploying to the cRIO again.
This is the thing. I cant. The KB i linked seems to say that you need to connect your IP camera to the cRIO through the second network port. And then you can list the IP camera under the RIO in your project. well this is all fine and good if you have a cRIO, but with the sbRIO, I only have one port. How do I get the IP camera to appear under the sbRIO.
Im hopping by getting to the pooint where by I can add a camera to the sbRIO's listed devices I will be able to use any of the IMAQdx VI's i needed. Im sure that I have just missed somthing and not followed the correct process for getting the camera seen by the sbRIO. In the KB i can only follow it so far because it is for the cRIO not the sbRIO. I cannot change the settings for the second port as its not there, nor then see the camera as a listed device. The Imaqdx devices under the sbRIO also never appears, even when the SW is installed on the sbRIO.
Thanks for your help so far!
Richard

Hi Richard,
Check out this KB for a step-by-step how-to on repairing your NI software. After you get that done continue with the other steps we discussed earlier.

Hi dmbrown2,
Unfortunately, due to the higher bandwidth requirments, GigE cameras are only supported by the multicore cRIOs (i.e. the 908x) series. This document discusses camera compatibility (under the "Fast Ethernet (IP)" section) and states that only Basler and Axis IP cameras can be interfaced with the cRIO.

hello, I am having the same problem in regards to connecting the Axis M1011 IP camera and the sbRIO9631. Under the remote systems in the automation explorer the sbRIO cannot see the axis camera. This configuration worked when I installed the camera with the sbRIO9602. Now that I have transferred to the sbRIO9631 I am getting this error. Please help, I tried doing the steps from the posts given above but am still not seeing the camera under remote systems.

Felriv or others,
Was this question ever answered? I bought the same camera and am using your same sbRIO model, due to forum recommendations. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Tim,
This particular camera (Axis m1011) was previoulsy used with the sbRIO 9602 and connected sucesfully. The connection problem started when we switched to the sbRIO 9631; this was done because we needed analog inputs for other components in our project. We have narrowed it down to a software issue. Maybe drivers? Updates software versions?
We have also loaded identical software on both, and the 9631 still refuses to acknowledge the camera.
Were you guys able to figure this out last year?

Hello everyone,
I am no longer in the Applications Engineering department, but I am pinging the team responsible for these products and someone should be in touch shortly.

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to give a short update on our current status regarding the Axis M1011 and sbRIO9631.
While I can't guarantee that a resolution is forthcoming, I can confirm that an Applications Engineer has been able to replicate this issue and we are currently looking into the situation. We will try to provide more information as it becomes available.

Good morning,
I wanted to ask if anyone had addressed the issue of having the sbRIO 9631 working with the Axis Camera and the FPGA target simultaneously.
Thanks for everyones inputs,
