SB-GPIB/TNT causes 'INVALID FCODE' on boot screen of sun Sparcstation 5

My SB-GPIB/TNT Sbus-Card (manufactored 1999) causes an 'Invalid FCODE'-error in my Sun Sparcstation 5 on boot time, (just before the SUN Logo and the 'Sun OS 5.6' message appear). My other SB-GPIB/TNT card (manufactored in 1993) did nothing like that and the NI-488-2 driver (package NICsbgpib ver 1.3 for Solaris 2.6) is correctly installed but can not attach. Is the new card faulty or is there anything that I missed to do after installing it in the SS5? (I'm not very firm with Sun products)

Can you give me the ASSY numbers of the board that works and the one that doesn't work?  We did change some of the fcode stuff on the boards a while ago.  I'm not sure if we can get you one that your Sparcstation "likes" if it is somehow dependent on the fcode of the board.  Let me know and we can research it here.

Hello,

Thank you for your very quick answer.
(In fact, I didn't have any hope, that anybody would read my question. I tried to get another card  and I didn't look into this forum again until now...).
Now I've got another SB-GPIB/TNT-Card, which is the same year of manufactory like the working one. But it also throws this 'Invalid FCode'-message in my sun sparcstation 5
on boot time.

The ASSY-Numbers are as following:
The working one:
(1993 SB-GPIB/TNT):  (On a paper label: )182390E-01

Both non-workers:
(1993 SB-GPIB/TNT):  ASSY182390  E-01 Rev.1 (only the 'E-01 Rev.1' on a paper label)
(1999 SB-GPIB/TNT):  (On a paper label: )182390F-01

With best regards
