Serial port display

In MAX the serial ports display as unrecognized (red cross).

The ports itself are working as tested via hyperterminal and device manager.Even validates from MAX.

On executing the NISerial Wizard it displayed the attached message.

How to remove the red cross display?

What NI serial port devices do you have? You aren't trying something as silly as using NI-Serial with built-in serial ports or third-party USB-RS232 converters are you?

We have RS422 fastcom to few serial ports and other are just PC COM port.

Then NI-Serial simply does not apply.

What version of NI-VISA are you running and what OS?
