Setting the addressing mode in ADMR (tnt5002)

Is there a way to change the addressing mode between PRI/SEC and MAJ/MIN modes without going through the whole PON process?

Mark,

The only way to make the primary address change is to take the instrument off of the GPIB.  This means that you must use the software reset etc.

Let me know if there is a particular reason for not wanting to reset the chip.

I can do it that way (and am currently) but it doesn't make much sense that you CAN change the addresses without doing the chip reset but NOT the addressing mode.  I just so happen to be developing an app that must have the capability of changing the mode as well as the addresses. Fortunatly, neither are done frequently within the app.
