I don't know much about your Sonics VibraCell Ultrasonic Processor, but if you tell me more about it I will be more than happy to give you any pointers I can.
It is an ultrasonic power generator that connects to an ultrasonic probe. There is a 9-pin D-SUB connector that uses each pin individually for different functions. The only documentation I have is what the functions are: frequency counter, power monitor (5mv = 1 watt), power on when connected to ground, and two pin adjustable intensity (0-5v). I was considering using a NI USB-6008. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
You are going to have to find out more than just the names. Do you know which pins are input and which are outputs?
There are plenty of shipping examples of DAQmx and you also have the DAQ Assistant but the 6008 is somewhat limited so it would help if you could find a set of full specifications for these pins.
