Transfer Saved Waveforms from TDS 784D to pc via GPIB

Hi,

Having trouble accessing TDS 784D's internal storage to transfer saved waveforms to the PC via GPIB. Already installed the driver but cannot figure out how to access the internal storage.

Any help much appreciated.

Hello Akmanarda,

       The only instrument driver on IDNet for the instrument is an IVI driver, and it probably does not include support for programmatically transfering the saved waveforms.  I recommend that you use the instrument driver to programmatically read the actual live measurement data from the device and then save it on your PC.  If that does not meet the needs of your application, you can read through the programming manual for the instrument and find the correct way to read the saved data.
