USB VISA ERROR

i keep on getting error ERR (-1073807343) when running my program in in serial write and read..

And is there in fact a com port listed in MAX? Are you selecting one from the dropdown list of the VISA Resource Name control?

yes i selected one which is connected to the COM1 port.

Is this code you have written or one of the examples? Do you get the same error when you use the VISA Interactive Control?
