I am using an NI USB-GPIB connector to connect to a TDS210 oscilloscope. I installed the NI 488.2 driver version 2.2.7 from the NI website. I am able to see the the NI GPIB interfaces using the Device Manager (see image below). Also, when I launch NI-MAX, I see the device listed with the following properties (see image below). I have connected a TDS210 oscilloscope to the GPIB controller. However, when I click the "Scan for Instruments" button, I get the following message:
"Instruments not found". The LED corresponding to READY on the USB-GPIB Controller is ON. However, the LED corresponding to ACTIVE is OFF.
I was able to connect to this instrument successfully using the Agilent USB-GPIB controller. I currently have only the NI controller connected to my system.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Dennis,
I did not uninstall any of the Agilent Drivers from my system. I assumed that both can co-exist on one computer system.

Instead of using a Tektronix TDS210 oscilloscope, I tried using an NI Instrument Simulator hardware which has a GPIB interface. I was able to connect to this successfully. This seems to indicate that Agilent and NI drivers can co-exist on the same system (no problems thus far!). I think the issue might be the physical connection between the TDS210 and the USB-GPIB converter. I will look into this. Thanks for all your help!
