Unable to read using Labview 8.6 and Visa 4.0 the Agilent U2351A multifunction DAQ

Using the Agilent software I can communicate with the AGILENT U2351A multifunction DAQ. However when I use the driver from NI (version 1.0) the write command is accepted however the read gives a timeout error: -1073807346. For example, sending *IDN? is accepted but at readback I get a timeout. The NI driver is valid for Labview version 8.2 or higher and called: "Agilent U2300 Series". What did I wrong?

You probably have a conflict between  the USB acces from Agilent and NI

try to uninstall the agilent driver only use LabVIEW.

Thanks for your reply. I already tried your suggestion without success. I have some additional information. If I run the Agilent utility: Agilent Connection Manager and I send with this a *IDN? command. I can read the correct answer using the READ.vi. However if I do the reverse procedure: I send a Write command with Labview then I cannot read anything. Therefore the problem seems to be with writing to the Device. Do you have any idea how to solve the problem?
