Hi everyone,
I have some problems with the Measurement & Automation Explorer. When I try to open it there is an error about the MAXKnownException. If I press for more details I get the next information:
The niGPIBsys.dll plug-in caused an exception in the CmxSysExpertManager::FinalizeExpert function in the NIMax process.
I am using Windows 7 and LabView 2012 Student Edition (everything updated).
Problems started when I downloaded and installed NI Device Drivers. All I wanted is to use Simulated NI-DAQmx. When I ignore the error and create Simulated NI-DAQmx it doesn't work properly. Trying to Self-Test created device is causing another error, something about device not connected.
After installing NI Device Drivers new update came up: NI 488.2 but it also didn't resolve the problem. Repairing installations like: LABView, MAX, installing again NI Device Drivers also didn't help.
Thanks in advance.
PS: I used the same installation files on my second computer with XP installed and everything works fine, without any problems. So it must be some problem connected with Windows 7?
