Unrecognized VISA USB driver in some PCs

I generated a driver for my custom USB device with VISA Driver Development Wizard. I had no problems at first: I copied the INF file into windows/inf and installed it with right click, then I plugged the device Windows XP detected it automatically.

Later I tried to install it over another Windows XP. The SO detects it as an unknown USB device, and if I try to set the driver manually it says that the INF file doesn't content any information about this component.

I've deducted that this behavior hasn't anything to do with the OS, because I've intalled it successfully in a Windows XP, Windows 98 and Windows 2000, but it has not been thus in another pcs with Windows XP and Windows 2000.

I don't have any idea of like solving
this... someone does?

Thank you.

Was the INF file generated with NI-VISA 3.0 or 3.1? If 3.0, please upgrade to 3.1 and re-generate the INF file. We fixed some bugs with the INF file contents in NI-VISA 3.1.

If you genereated the INF file with NI-VISA 3.1 and are still having problems, please reply and attach the problematic file.

Also, what type of device is it? Is it a device with a standard/known class, such as HID?

I generated the INF file with VISA 3.1. It's an HID class device.
Thanks for your attention Dan.
