I am trying to use a NI Serial USB to RS-232 with SignalExpress but I have not found a way to communicate with the serial device using SignalExpress. Can this be done? IF not with SignalExpress can this be done using LabView?
It's certainly possible with LabVIEW. You might even find a driver already written for the instrument you have connected. You might even find an IVI driver for it and about all I know about Signal Express is that you can use IVI drivers.
