VISA 5.1.2 and VXI-1394

I just built a new developent PC with win7 and NI-VISA 5.1.2.  My old development PC was XP with NI-VISA 4.4.1.

I rebuilt a distribution that includes the run time library and a customer installed it and now his resman gives him the attached error.

The customer is using a VXI-1394 controller.  Does VISA 5.1.2 support VXI-1394?

Unfortunately the VXI-1394 was EOL'd back in 2007 before the launch of Windows 7 so we have no testing for this product on that operating system.

One thing we can try to do is try installing NI-VISA 4.4.1 on the Win 7 PC, the 4.4.1 version of VISA can be found here: http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/1070/lang/en.  As with the VXI-1394 we have no official support for VISA 4.4.1 on Windows 7, however it may prove successful.
