I never did figure out what was going on with my VISA Close. As I mentioned in the last post, I just found a different driver for my device that does not exhibit the behavior.
It sounds like a driver issue. My device communicates via a serial to usb adapter which has its own driver. I will try to update the driver and see if the problem can be fixed. Thanks!
