VISA driver for NI-6014NI- and Agilent HPE1413C

I'm using the DAQ-card NI-6014 and an NI-MXI-2 card to communicate with HPE1413C.

Please let me know if you have accessed these cards thru NI-VISA

There is a driver for the B model of the VXI card on the Instrument Driver Network. The NI DAQ card uses the DAQmx driver and not VISA.

Hi Dennis,

thanks for the reply. I can see NI-6014 cards as a PXI device and I'm able get the instrument handle, base address register values as well thru VISA library. I just wanted a fully implemented NI-6014 C/C++ driver written for VISA library which i can integrate in my application.

Also the driver for 1413B is implemented in Labview which again ican't integrate in my VC++ application.

I want to access these cards through NI-VISA only

You should check with the vendor to see if they have a driver for the 1413 though I don't think Agilent has supported VXI for quite a few years.

There are simply no VISA drivers for NI DAQ cards.
