Hi everyone,
For the past couple of days, I've encountered an issue where VISA randomly stops reading. There's no output after several seconds or minutes, and the VI becomes unresponsive. I’m unable to click "Abort execution" on the front panel, and the only way to stop the VI is by unplugging the USB and plugging it back in.
The USB-to-Serial device I’m using is the USB UART PL2303.
I’ve tried several solutions, but none have worked:
- Disabled the auto turn-off for USB ports in Device Manager and adjusted power-saving options.
- Updated the driver for the USB-to-Serial device.
Note: The device works perfectly fine with Hterm for several hours without any issues.
