VISA version for GPIB-USB-A and USB support

I'm trying to use a GPIB-USB-A to connect several scopes, as there is no longer room in the computer for a GPIB card. I understand VISA 2.2 is the recommended version for this. However, I also need to connect a couple of BNC trigger generators using USB, and apparently USB support wasn't introduced in VISA until version 3.0. Is there any solution to this problem without getting a new GPIB to USB converter?

Nevermind, I solved my own problem. It's not VISA that had to be downgraded to 2.2, just the 488.2 drivers. VISA stays 4.2 and I can keep using USB devices.
