Visa Class

Hello.Sorry for my english. I'm trying to to connect my PC(winNT) to an HP33120A function generator, with a GPIB. I got the driver from NI page, but there's an error. Should I change the VISA class from Instr to GPIB Instr?

Hi,

It might be helpful if we knew more of the details. Have you been able to communicate with the instrument by using visa interactive control? What about IBIC? Does the instrument show up in MAX? What is the error displayed? Make sure that you are able to communicate with the instrument through MAX by doing a *IDN? query. If this works, move on to debugging the driver!
