What is maximum length for one GPIB-USB-A Cable

We plan to use GPIB-USB-A cable to connect computer with Equipment. We do not know how long those Cable will be ok. We may need to have cable longer than 5meters. Do we need to have third-party extender for it. What is the price information for the cables and extenders. Thanks.

The total length on a GPIB bus should not be more than 10m. I have successfully used 3m and 5m cables. I see no reason why you could not have a single 10m cable.
