When configuring my CompactRIO system, I get the VISA Error 0xBFFF00A7 under Remote System>cRIOName>Devices and Interfaces. Can somebody help me?

When configuring my CompactRIO system, I get the VISA Error 0xBFFF00A7 under Remote System>cRIOName>Devices and Interfaces. I checked all the possible causes for this error, but it didn't help. Can somebody help me?

I couldn't Reinstalling the NI-VISA software becasue I couldn't find the Real-Time Software Wizard in MAX. This was the given instrctions for

"Use the LabVIEW Real-Time Software Wizard in MAX to install the software and drivers from the host computer on the RT target.

In MAX, expand the target, click

Software under the target, and then click the Add/Remove Software button in the toolbar to launch

the LabVIEW Real-Time Software Wizard. "

Where is this target?

Is it under MAX software? or Remote Systems?

Under remote Systems > cRIO > Devices and Interfaces > VISA Error

Those are the only options I have in LabView (8.0)

Hi TUL-Guy,

What do you mean when you say "I checked all the possible causes for this error" ? Did you check your firewall and antivirus ? Did you try to reset the IP adress and the reinstall RT on your CompactRIO ?

It is under remote systems in MAX that you have to reinstall the RT software.
