Why does my application crash in VB? BAD_POOL_CALLER

When i try to run my application, my system crashes with a blue screen which says BAD_POOL_CALLER and then reboots. I am using a GPIB with the latest drivers but no devices attached at the moment because i am only testing the app. I do have ibonl(n,0) calls at the end of the program....read that this may be the problem. I am running visual basic 6 on windows 2000. any ideas?

Are you using ibonl for every unit descriptor and not the board only as per the KB, http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/e4e06388abeff12486256a0a007f191e?OpenDocument.

What is the GPIB driver version that you have? I hope you have the latest GPIB driver available from http://www.ni.com/support/gpib/versions.htm. If you don't, follow the steps from www.ni.com/support/install
