Did you mean:

Width/Duty Cycle change

One of the instrument does not set the settings (by the loaded text file), but rather sets to some random large value....
In turn, this causes the VI to a halt without completing the rest of the test program.
I am not sure what is actually causing this behavior.

Can anyone share your thought/experience in a similar situation?

Thanx,

Could you please post more information about this issue:

1)  What device are you trying to communicate with?
2)  Are you using GPIB, Serial, TCP/IP?
3)  What specific setting are you trying to set?
4)  What value are you trying to set it to?
5)  How is the text file being used for this?
6)  What specific error codes are you getting?

Supplying more specific details about the issue can better help us narrow down the cause of the problem.

Does adding a delay with more time would solve this problem? I am not sure...
