The GPIB interface card from NI is supplied with a software called "NI Spy" (version 1.4) which allows logging the communication on the bus to a file for troubleshooting. The software has an option "Start NI Spy with capture on". If the program is started with this usefull option it shows always a warning message:
NI Spy will log captures to the file "C:\capture23.spy"
If the file exists it will be overwritten.
Do you want to replace the file?
YES NO CANCEL
This message is shown in any case even if the file in question does not exist because e.g. it has been deleted before.
Is there any parameter, option or registry key that will allow a "silent" start of NI Spy with capture on but no need for user interaction?
