64 bit os visa driver, win xp pro x64 / xeon from dell

just got new dell xeon emt64 desktop w/ win xp pro x64 os

didn't realize driver incompatablity, requires 64 bit drivers

is there/or when will there be VISA drivers for xp x64 os?

i want to automate stimulus/respone data collection between tds3034b (ethernet?), hp33120a(rs-232?) under program control

Hello,

National Instruments is looking into developing drivers for 64-bit operating systems, but unfortunately there is no current VISA driver available for 64-bit. While we are in development, however, a potential workaround would be to install a 32-bit OS on your 64-bit machine. You will not be able to take advantage of all 64-bits using a 32-bit OS, but the 64-bit operating system only provides more memory space, not faster performance. When you use a 32-bit OS, you can use all of our normal drivers without any problem.
