Thanks, but I already have the drivers. The problem is that there is no documentation for the drivers. I need someone who has successfully implemented the drivers to help me understand how to properly use the VI's.

SaturnEE,
I have not used these particular drivers from Yokogawa. I do have a lot of experience with the drivers for a WT230 power meter. I got a lot of help from the Programming Guide for my meter. Yokogawa tends to write a vi for each of the commands in the command set. Typical flow is to initialize the instrument, configure meter and measurements, read measurements and shutdown the coms on the way out. If you look, I think you will find that the icons are color coded based on general function.

I have all the VI's for the YKWE7000 and understand thier organization. I've been successful in implementing many of them but have not succeded in acquiring data from multiple channels simultaneously. Additionally, the VI's are very unforgiving, if you use them incorrectly, they crash the program and usually LabView as well. Yusef from Yokogawa is working on an example program for me but I was hoping that there might be others who have succeeded in using the Yokogawa drivers. There is NO documentation available for the Yokogawa drivers making thier use problematic (trial and error) not efficient when trying to complete a development project on time.
Thanks for your feedback.

Hi delphimike,
I have recieved a number of vi's courtesy of Yusef many months ago. However, the project I was working on was put on hold to progress with other projects. You are also correct in that the vi's are very unforgiving and tend to crash LV if not executed just right. I would be happy to share the vi's I have with you. Bear in mind though that I haven't even looked at these vi's in probably a year, so my ability to help you with them is very limited as is my time. I can't do this for you immediately but will bundle them and place them in at a downloadable location as soon as I can (day or two). You can contact me directly at dphillips@saturnee.com or call me at 616-837-5536.
Good luck with your efforts.
