any code modifications needed to switch from PCI-GPIB to USB-GPIB?

We are presenty using a PCI GPIB card.  We use Borland C++ and call the National Instrument library of C functions to talk GPIB to our instruments.

In the future we would like to use USB GPIB.

Is it true that we will not need to make any code changes for this switch?

Basically no changes needed.  The NI-488.2M and NI-VISA libraries are transparent for all the NI GPIB products, though a correct version of device driver for specific model and OS shall be installed for each machine.

Sounds like it should be pretty easy.  Thanks.
