Where do I find the tektronix tktdsxxx library for the tktds7xx drivers.

I was sort of geting started with labview, and I am a bit new to it still. I think I got a fair understanding of things. But when I went out to actually download a driver for one of my instruments I got the driver for the tktds7xx, but it states it needs this tktdsxxx library also. I have been unable to find it so far. Anyone know were it is? Where are the generic tektronix drivers in general because I have other ones I want to use as well like 6xx 2xx etc.?

There should have been a separate folder called _Shared created when you unzipped the driver.

I got the driver from the "find instrument drivers-Search results" menu then it automatically downloaded it. I can't find a "_Shared" folder anywere would it be in the same directory or someplace else? I was trying to find one on Tektronix web sight not much luck finding one there yet.

Ok so what I figured out was that they didn't put the tktdsxxx file into the Labview 8.0 download. I went back to the Labview 7.0 download and it was in that one I suppose it shouldn't matter for this file.

Glad you found it. I haven't upgraded to 8.0 yet so I haven't had a chance to try any of the 8.0 driver downloads. The tek drivers have always been a little wierd with the separate _Shared folder required. You might want to add this feedback on the driver download page.

The tktds7xx driver has been updated it has the shared library in the zip file.
